Student Advisory Committee
Attention High School Students! Here’s a chance to earn community hours by meeting to discuss what works or doesn’t work in a shul, what turns you on or off, etc. You then earn additional community hours when you come to a shul service, as you are there for “research” — that is, to see what works. The Song Shul Student Advisory Committee will not only get you thinking about how to actually create a shul but it will give you the opportunity to implement your ideas! You’ll build leadership skills, analytic skills, and communication skills. The Song Shul is in the unique position to offer this as we are a congregation just starting out, breaking the mold, celebrating through music, and creating something new.
