KEVIN & ILANA HEYMANN

Both born and raised in Toronto, Kevin and Ilana have been involved in Jewish informal and formal education and programming for most of their lives. Ilana has led three Birthright Israel trips and has been involved in many other Jewish and israeli advocacy programs on campus with Hillel and Aish. Ilana currently teaches at a private jewish girls high school in North York. Kevin studied in Yeshiva Lev HaTorah in Israel after high school and has volunteered with Chai Lifeline Canada for five years. Kevin currently works for a Hi-Rise real estate developer. The two of them are very excited to guide The Song Shul teens through innovative and fun programming during the High Holy Days!

Cantor Simon and Aliza Spiro guide us into the New Year with our fast-paced, relaxed, meaningful and unforgettable services. The Toronto Festival Singers provide the Signature Sound of The Song Shul, with a cushion of beautiful harmonies for our prayers. Aliza offers explanations throughout, completing this one-of-a-kind High Holy Day experience!

Coming with your kids?
We have babysitting for tots, children’s programs for the children, teen programs for teens, inspiration for all!
Children are invited to march in the Torah parade, and invited up close to hear the shofar.
